As I sit here trying to think of something to blog, I am going to brainstorm some ideas that I could write about. Then, when I can't think of something, I can pull from the list!
1) softball season
2) school year coming to an end
3) potty training Delaney this summer
4) letter to Delaney for her 2nd birthday
5) remodeling the bathroom
6) turning 30
7) getting organized
8) new school in 2011
9) Cape Cod, MA trips
10) getting organized
I guess that is it for now! Until next time....
Danielle,
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I seem to come up with ideas as I am lying in bed at night but never write them down. Maybe having a pen and paper close at all times can also help when your brain suddenly gets ideas.
I love this list! Is this on purpose that you have getting organized twice? I think if I had a list of ten things to do 1-10 would be getting organized. Every year I say my classroom needs to be better organized...did you also mean your classroom?
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean to have getting organized twice, but it works. I really want to get organized at home and at school!! Only a week to go at school and then I will have time to get organized in both places!!
ReplyDeleteI love your brainstorming list. I often have the students in my class brainstorm a list of ideas to write about whenever we are beginning a new unit on something, especially when we begin a new novel. This list sparks your interest in the subject and helps you narrow your writings. Whenever you can create a "spark" for students to begin thinking, motivation sets in to learn more. With this in mind, they research and find out more information on this subject.
ReplyDeletePersonally, great list of ideas to write about. I think we all feel like "getting organized" should be written a number of times in a list of 1 to 10, especially at the end of the school year when we have put things off until we are on vacation!
You could also discuss what is on your bucket list. This is always a greattopic to write about.
